People strategy gains industry-leading award

Pertemps Learning and Development division has been named People Development Business of the Year at the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) awards.

Hosted by comedian Kerry Godliman, the REC awards showcased the work of brilliant recruiters throughout the industry, from agency to in-house, and start-ups and multinationals.

Judges highlighted the outstanding impact Pertemps has had through its innovative and people-lead approach towards learning and development.

Exclusively for Recruitment and Employment Confederation members, this category recognised the best team performance and overall company success.

The glamourous awards ceremony, held at the Royal Lancaster, in London, saw hundreds of recruitment professionals come together to celebrate yet another fantastic year.

Andy Long, Pertemps Head of Learning and Development, said: “Words cannot describe how honoured we are to win the People Development Business of the Year award.

“Pertemps has always been, and continues to remain, a people-centric business, one that actively encourages our employees to thrive and succeed in everything they do.

“We are continually enhancing our learning and development opportunities as a business to ensure we are listening to the needs of our employees and supporting them within their career journeys.”

Tracy Evans, Group HR and Quality Director added: “I'm so pleased for our Learning and Development team.

"This award win is a testament to their continued hard work and commitment to ensure everyone has the opportunity to grow and develop."
