National Three Peaks Challenge

Pertemps Managed Solutions

Three of the highest peaks in England, Wales and Scotland face a team of intrepid fundraisers from Pertemps Managed Solutions – and they need your support!

Teressa Bennett, Simon Julier, Andy Long, Lisa Duncan and Abigail Gill, all part of the Pertemps Managed Solutions team, are doing the National Three Peaks challenge in 24 hours on 1st October for Cancer Research, and will be supported by their ‘designated drivers’ Simon Benford-Blows and Carey Munn.

The challenge starts at 5am on 1st October in Scotland at Ben Nevis (1,344 metres or 4,409 ft), the tallest mountain of the three. They will then be driven by their dedicated drivers to Scafell Pike (978 metres or 3, 209 ft), then finally onto Wales to climb the final mountain Snowdon (1,085 metres or 3,560 ft).

They have been practicing since May and have done between 3 to 4 climbs, with one of their practice sessions taking place on 25th July, where they climbed Snowdon twice, with only a 90 minute break between climbs. With just under 9 hours of climbing and 15 miles covered they were still smiling and just about standing at the end. Help them out at
